Sibelius Playback Hacks
An online class with Ian Grom, composer, arranger, and co-founder of Box Six.
The number one way we can communicate our vision to the world, both to our current and future clients, is through our mock-up. And for most folks living in Sibelius, that process can get handcuffed out of the gate because a notation program is not inherently set up for DAW-like processes and invasive MIDI editing techniques. I’ll show you my workflow tricks and go-to tweaks that give you a pardon from your prison sentence. Some of these processes have to be adjusted for 2026, but translating them to current software is a ChatGPT prompt away, my friends!
